This bench was exactly what I was looking for. The color was as shown in the pictures. It is a beautiful, deep mahogany with no scratches, cracks or other issues. It is a good size for my entryway — not too big as to overpower the hall but big enough for two to sit comfortably. Very sturdy. I put it together on my own in less than two hours. Everything aligned well and the instructions were easy to follow. It is a great value for the price. I would totally recommend it.. Kat. Georgia. Sat Aug 08 2026

Bought it for my cats’ room to use for storage and as a bench for them. Works perfectly for the purpose. Took me a good 2-3 hours to build though.. Seren K.. Laguna Niguel. Wed May 06 2026

Rich tones and clean slatted lines give this storage bench a warm, grounding presence that feels right at home in bustling entryways or quiet bedrooms. The high back and gently flared arms nod to classic Mission design, while the lift-top seat conceals a roomy compartment for shoes, scarves, or seasonal layers. With its crisp edges and tailored profile, it adapts effortlessly to modern, transitional, or traditional spaces whether tucked beneath a window, placed at the foot of a bed, or anchoring a mudroom. Wherever it's placed, this piece keeps clutter out of sight while lending the room a polished, welcoming feel.

The Glenn 50 inch storage bench exceeded my expectations in both quality and pricing. I needed the storage for our winter hats, scarves and gloves to have at the ready when venturing out in our northern Michigan winters. I have always called these “deacon benches.” The sizing is generous holding so many items. This would literally work for a family of 6. This is true to size fitting into our foyer exactly as advertised at the 50 inches in width. (See photo). The wood is solid and without blemishes. The finish is a shiny dark brown color. This is solid and strong and does not wobble. The bottom of the storage area is a thinner wood and is rated to hold no more than 30 pounds. My husband assembled this in just under an hour. The small included Allen wrench did not fit the screws so my husband used his own Allen wrench. My only critique is that the included wrench did not fit. This bench is a quality item appearing rich and elegant in my home and I am sure to receive compliments.. Debbie. Gaylord, MI. Fri Oct 23 2026

This shoe bench with built-in storage racks adds both style and functionality to your entryway or mudroom. It features a sturdy steel frame with a powder-coated finish for a sleek, classic look. A foam-filled linen seat cushion gives you a comfy seat for when you're pulling your shoes on or off. Down below, two slatted shelves hold eight pairs of shoes. It has a total weight capacity of 400 lbs. The best part? It's freestanding, so there's no need to install or use a wall anchor.

Super sturdy and matches purrrrrfect. Jasmin Hernandez. California. Tue Jun 30 2026

Looks in great condition. Fits perfectly. Seems like quality material. The only thing was that the basket on the bottom is black black. In the photo it looks more brown. But I’m pleased.. Mark. Thu Sep 24 2026

This storage bench keeps entryways organized while offering a convenient place to sit. It’s crafted from engineered wood with a neutral finish and features a slatted design for a clean, casual look. The open cubbies hold up to 15 pairs of shoes, keeping everyday footwear within easy reach. The wide top doubles as a seat or display surface, making it a versatile piece for mudrooms, hallways, or closets. Plus, the low-profile design fits neatly along the wall without taking up much floor space.

Functional piece. Even though it is not solid wood, it looks nice. A solid wood piece like this would be great but ! The seat cushion is fine, nice that it has Velcro to stay in place. We’ll use in walk in closet, but easily could use at mudroom or front entrance or wherever u need a bench. Maybe better for kids and women’s shoes but size 9.5 men’s Merrill low top hikers in the example photo just to give an idea. (Women NB size 8). Jolene. Madison, WI. Tue Oct 13 2026

For the price this is a perfectly fine little storage bench. It’s nothing spectacular but it only needs to hold some towels and bath supplies. That being said, I was frustrated it did not come with instructions in the box and I only realized when I went to leave a review that there were instructions through Wayfair’s website. It wasn’t hard to figure out how to put together though. Also it is way more orange than expected. It will still work though.. Rebecca. MO. Mon Jul 27 2026
