This bench was a very pleasant surprise. I wanted the William Yeoward, Jonathan Charles bench but at $1,900 I decided I would 'settle' for the Emmalee bench instead. I was SHOCKED to see its gorgeous quality and that it is identical to the more expensive one. The color I got says "natural" but as you can see in my photos it is not that; instead it is a beautiful brownish gray, much dressier than a natural finish. The size is identical to the more expensive one, and the construction is substantial, sturdy and very high quality. The cane seating is thick and sturdy. It looked lovely in the photos, but once I unboxed it, wow, it is so beautiful with lots of nice details, and the quality is incredible. I bought this for a very long entry hall. It will be nice for removing shoes, but once I decorated it, it's such a statement piece that I may move it to the master bedroom. This is a large bench, 18'' H X 48'' W X 20'' D, and solid, weighing almost 40 pounds. This is real wood, and the rattan is soft and tightly wrapped. I mention the rattan because I always worry about hard rattan eventually cracking or breaking. The cushion is very padded and also comfortable. This is one beautiful piece of furniture. It’s high quality and as exactly as described…. I love the modern farmhouse look and this worked perfectly in our space. I have seen a couple of reviews about the color. This is true to the image posted but will add that the lighting can also cause variations in light from cool to warm. I love both!! My husband and I downsized so the extra storage was a bonus. I have six sets of king size sheets and 4 throws, two small pillows and space for a little more. The white cushion is very attractive I did however add some scotch guard to help keep dust and stains at stray. I think a damp white cloth could be used. It’s comfortable to sit on and the width and height are perfect for both my husband and I. I am 5’8 and he is 6’2 so this was another thing that attracted us to this bench. It has some weight to it which we prefer. Assembly was a breeze due to only having to add the feet..
