okay love how the couch came out! I had a family friend build this and it took him a couple hours alone. I would say it was relatively easy. however the pillows are flatter than i assumed, they don’t have much structure to them in terms of laying on them , but that makes sense with them acting as the “back board”. I would recommend adding some pillows to lounge on instead of these. The comfort of it is alright, still kinda stiff feeling but i’m hoping when i use it more i’ll kinda break it in. Truly a beautiful, comfy couch. We have had it for a little over a year now and love it. It’s very cushy and has great depth. It’s also super easy to clean—most spills/dirt can be wiped with a wet paper towel without a sign of it if you are quick enough. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new! Omg, I was doubting about getting this couch because reviews didn’t show pictures, but here is an honest review. Shipping was amazing, I was called 2 times before it came, one when he was heading this way and another one when he was here. The couch in general is amazing, fabric and cushions are so soft and it is loungey but you don’t sink into it, so it doesn’t make it easy to stand up but still VERY comfortable, all cushion covers are removable and can be washed which I think it’s the best specially having a pet or kids. The couch is…fine. It looks like one of the big comfy lounge all day sofas, but it’s only in looks. The feather layer of the cushions is super thin and you immediately sink to the foam underneath. That would be fine if the foam underneath was good quality. It is not. It is surprisingly hard foam. That being said, for the 850 it cost, I’m not too upset. The linen type fabric is nice and the installation wasn’t too bad. Took me a few hours to do it solo. Having an Allen key drill bit will save you so much time. The foam takes a couple days to fully expand and the fabric is crazy wrinkled when first taken out of the vacuum seal bag. I steamed the fabric and the wrinkles came out almost immediately, so that was nice. The couch gives the look I wanted and is fine to sit on for a couple of hours. I would just spend more on a nicer sofa if ultimate comfort is your main priority. If cost is your main priority, then this will serve you just fine as long as you know what to expect!. Colby. FL. Please do not buy this. I had such high hopes. We won’t even talk about the shipping and the delays and shipping. What’s the problem is that the sofa is very uneven. It’s filled with something like down, but at the same time there’s parts of it that are filmed with Polly Esther. It is so uneven and now it’s getting clumpy and lumpy. You can see from the photos that it is very uneven. That corner place I don’t even ever sit there, but somehow it sunken in. Best bang for the buck! I bought the three seater couch that came with (2) ottman's as well as the chair. The installation directions were super easy and I put them all together quickly.
