Unfortunately useless. I was excited to get for my cats. The wood is very soft and split on me. It is flimsy sure it wouldn't last long in the weather. It doesn't fit my window leaving large gaps by the window extenders on the top and bottom. Critters could get in. Now Molly is mad at me WAYFAIR gave me full refund...ty. Anonymous. US. Catio worries fade when your indoor feline longs for the outdoors. The constant meow at the window highlights their unfulfilled curiosity and your concern for their safety. The catio outdoor cat enclosure provides a secure solution attaching to your window to create a safe passage. This two-level fir wood outdoor cat house allows them to bask in the sun and breathe fresh air, enriching their life while giving you complete peace of mind

I was hesitant about ordering a product with AI photos (seriously Wayfair??) but it was hard to find dimensions that would work with our windows as most catios or cat boxes are made for standard size windows and ours are tall but skinny. My fiance spent the weekend installing it and install was tricky because our placement wasn’t on a flat surface and he had to drill holes in concrete. The install was the only tricky part (and that’s because of our windows so he added additional wood supports). However, assembly was very quick and our cat took to it almost immediately. We also added some sticky foam along the edges to help seal it from bugs. It feels very secure, looks just like the picture, and feels durable enough for our cat. Very pleased with this!. Zinnia. This durable outdoor cat house features SF-grade spruce wood construction and waterproof plastic shingle roofing for weather resistance. Its multi-level design includes 4 platforms for jumping/resting, a movable security hut, and 3 outward-opening doors for natural access. The enclosure combines tightly-woven iron mesh with PVC panels (temperature control/visibility), offering flexible window or wall mounting with an elevated dry base.

I’ve been looking for one with kind of measurements and with some adjustments to the structure (for our needs and wants) this has been great. The instructions were pictures which I thought were a challenge, and a few pieces were cracked.. I used glue and packing tape for repair. But not with removing a star. I skipped the braces ( first steps so I could put it together in the house ) when my husband and I could assemble this outdoors I did end up replacing some of the upper parts with the same wire as the bottom. I purchased at tractor supply then replaced the two doors with just wire ( a good stapler is needed.) The big door at the bottom I added an extra lock so it gives me the access needed for “just in case” my cats would run in if I shake the treat jar. I got two pieces of strapping for the top to support the top by the roof and one for the center just for additional support. I am able to use power tools but I didn’t want to come up with the big design so honestly this is great! I got some exterior white paint just in case I feel it needs a bit more protection from the elements. Well I hope this review helps. We are pleased. Tami. Sun May 17 2026

The catio offers a practical solution. This Catio outdoor cat enclosure features adjustable wings that fit window widths from 25.6" to 41.3" . Its transparent design provides your beloved pet with an unobstructed view, giving them a secure perch to explore the outdoors visually

This is a huge rip off. The size advertised is not correct. This was my first time shopping with Wayfair and I promise it will be my last! Do not waste your hard earned money on this. If your window is exceptionally large you might be able to improvise but will not fit a normal window. It does not at all fit a 25-41 inch window. I dont know where they got those measurements. I am on a fixed income and I was excited to get this but now the only way to return it is to dismantle the whole thing. Its not easy to assemble. I tried to give it to friends but it doesnt fit any of their windows either. Dont trust the size on this item!. Karen. Westerville, OH. Wed Jun 24 2026
