This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . This is a great table. Its a bit of a challenge to make it larger or smaller but as long as you are patient and know how to follow instructions...lol...you'll do fine. I think the legs are a bit spindly but over all, it is holding up well for a family of 8. Really happy with it. No scratches yet although we have little kids. No spill marks, no stains in spite of repeated spills of cranberry juice and coffee, and it wipes clean so easily. I actually recommend this table.. Anonymous. Mon Apr 27 2026
