This foam mattress is definitely best used over another bed-like surface over the ground. It will slump on the ground, so you can still feel some stiffness when used on the floor. It is plush, soft, and folds easily. One issue we had was that our mattress came with one of the foam pieces folded over itself, so it had a bump in the middle instead of laying flat. This rollaway bed is sturdy, mattress quality is good for a rollaway and metal frame is as described. But beware, do not order this bed if the delivery time matters to you. We ordered the bed May 16 because of the estimated delivery date of May 20th (see photo). It was shipped May 18th and then Fed Ex took forever to deliver this bed, it spent days sitting without moving, it was shipped from Delta BC across to Winnipeg MB, then back again to SK. Fed Ex sent false emails of delivery by the end of the day on May 30. In the end it never arrived until June 1st. It would be more honest to state that it will take Fed Ex OVER two weeks to deliver this bed. This sleeping mat is actually pretty comfortable. The foam is dense enough to add a good amount of support without being too hard. It has a nice anti-slip bottom so it stays in place. It is a little bulky when folded up but I still plan on using it for camping. We have a few foam camping beds that I paid a significant amount of money for and I have a feeling that this will be the bed everyone fights over when we camp. This mattress is a good large size (33Wx77LX6D). Folded up to store measures 17”. The outer material feels super soft. The underside has little nonslip dots on the material to keep it from sliding.
