I’m a female and was able to build it by myself. Split building into two evenings and took about 7 hours total (I was going slowly and making sure each step was done correctly). Instructions were clear, holes aligned well, and everything came together nicely! The most building I’ve done for a piece of furniture but totally worth it! It took close to five hours to put together... but I thoroughly read the directions before starting, then didn't rush. Took about four times stopping and starting... First run was 2.5 hours, then shorter spurts with a 10 y/o "helping". It was not difficult to put together; the directions were actually very good. We have two pieces with cracks, but they seemed superficial and surface-level. One edge on the back was not trimmed to slide the backing in - had to take a knife to the plastic trim blocking the groove. The lights around the mirror have three color tones, plus you can adjust brightness. My daughter also loves the LED strip inside the glass top.
