Still in the middle of the remodel but had to share how much I love this thing! I got the Coffee color. It was hard to tell the tone of the wood from the photos but I am glad I took the gamble, it’s the perfect tone for the look I’m going for. Solid and sturdy. For installation, of course screw into studs where possible. But in retrospect I should have installed a horizontal mounting stud in the wall for more security. But I found other ways to secure it.. The Liljan vanity is beautiful but I had a lot of trouble with it. I am wondering if it was someone's returned article.....first the drawer pull had an entire section where the finish had come off and the stainless steel below was exposed. The vendor sent over a new handle so at least that was good. The once the vanity was installed, I discovered that the bottom drawer was misaligned and jutting out. Since the drawer rails were preinstalled my contractor could not adjust these. Hopefully someone will come and fix the vanity drawer and it will get done, otherwise will be a big problem for me as to now uninstall it, send it back and purchase a new vanity will be very expensive and painful.. I love the modern look and floating style. The instructions were subpar, omitting written language in favor of images, arrows, and numbers on the cabinet base instructions. I’m handy with tools and was able to modify a few things to make it work. Firstly, pieces 4-8 have an end with larger holes. These holes go against pieces 1 and 2. I wish the instructions had said that! Second, the hangers did not work in the ore-drilled hole location. I had to move them toward the front of the cabinet and loosen the hanger before screwing them to the cabinet. That was the only way to get the cabinet pulled in close to the wall. Third, I wanted the unit mounted to studs so I added a couple holes in the top strap where the studs were. I hate drywall anchors, especially the cheap ones included in the kit. If you’re going to use drywall anchors, you’re better off using the screw-in type or toggles. Lastly, FYI the drain pipe kit that comes with the sink is 1-1/4” flexible pipe.. Hallie. Raleigh, NC.
