Color is slightly darker than what is shown in the display photos. Instructions could be a little clearer as well. In particular it can be hard to tell which screw holes the diagram is referring to sometimes. I also think the dowels for concrete could be made of sturdier stuff, the plastic dowels often bent when hammering them in so I had to size the holes larger than normal. We bought an 85" TV and wanted this 70.8" wide, Light Oak, floating tv console to hide cords and other small electronics inside the cabinet for a clean look. The back has a wooden panel so we used a saw and cut out an opening where our outlets are on the wall. It is very heavy, so make sure you have something to hold it up on while you drill into the studs in the wall. Installation takes a while and I would definitely recommend 2 people. I got the 78” wide cabinet. The gloss is really pretty. It took like 15 min to assemble. Took way longer to hang. I wish it would have come with better hanging hardware. The toggle anchors require massive holes to be made in the wall. And the bolts should have been fully threaded. I had to use the bolts from a different floating tv cabinet’s hanging hardware bc the ones that came with this cabinet did not work properly. And the toggle system is incredibly difficult. Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order. Had it in hand 3 days after I ordered. Well mostly in hand … had to retrieve it from my neighbor as Fed-X failed to get it to my door. Overall pleased with the quality of the furniture.. David.
