Dishwasher safe.

The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

I chose this silverware set for our wedding over 43 years ago and it still looks great, but pieces have disappeared. I was so happy to find it and the shiny new stuff doesn’t stand out. And still looks great!. Anonymous. Sun Jun 28 2026

I rarely write reviews however this time I will make an exception, why The silverware is nothing short of stunning! In fact as a collector of art, I would say the only thing that out paces the silverware as art is the quality and craftsmanship. They are weighted perfectly not too heavy and not too light.
