I love the color--a teal-ish blue--a little darker--that looks terrific with my china. Ordinarily, I wouldn't be attracted to this pattern because, when closely examined, it has a quirky little metal element on the side that signals "industrial." But this flatware is shaped very well and is appropriately heavy in the hand. The overall look is flexible--good for every day and, except for the most formal of occasions--good for dinners.. I love the look, but I was surprised to find these are completely plastic. I understand Mepra is a high-standard brand, which explains the premium price, but it is hard to justify paying this much for lightweight material.
