This is so beautiful. Just what I wanted! I did not use the bottom piece because I wanted the fireplace to be shorter than the window. Assembly of the mantle was straightforward. Just finished putting this entertainment center with fireplace together. It was a little tricky with one person, but the instructions were clear and there were plenty of extra hardware such as screws. It’s the perfect addition to our basement theaterfamily room. First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. So I bought two 11X14 picture frames, cheap at the dollar store, and used just the glass and the frame as shelves. They fit perfectly. I then used one of the wood shelves as a base for my subwoofer.
