Good quality shades, very easy to install, and they do block out all light except what comes in around the edges. They recommended adding 1/2" for proper clearance, the width of my window was 22 1/4", and I didn't want a large gap on the sides of the shade since it was for a bathroom window, so I took a chance and ordered 1/4" larger at 22 1/2", it worked out perfectly, the shade fit the space exactly.. As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. As a result, I can’t figure out a way to automate this blind without using SwitchBot bots.. Kevin. Denver. Thu Apr 30 2026

Love this sun shade! It was the perfect size for my space and easy enough to install (or have my friend install for me). It provides great protection from the sun and heat and makes my front porch more comfortable during the hot summer months. The sun sets on the side of my porch making the late afternoons very hot on the porch. No more now that I have this sun shade! I also love that I'm able to see through it somewhat so I can still see the pond and trees and enjoy nature.. Martha. Mountain View, AR. Wed Jul 01 2026
