I really love the look of this curtain - the texture is open weave and the plaid gives it an understated simplicity. It is lined with a silky fabric which gives it a much more expensive and quality feel. I hung it thinking that I would need to steam out the few wrinkles that were in it, but it did not even need steaming at all. The only reason that I took off one star is that due to the very open weave of the fabric, I believe that it will probably shrink when it is washed. These are great! They keep the room really dark! Our last curtains were blackout as well, but because of the style they didn’t hug the wall and a lot of light still got in.
