These are perfect for my LR windows. I ordered four panels. I needed something to block out the sun in the summer and cold now. I close the blinds but wanted additional blocking. I partially closed on panel for you to see the amount of light blocking/privacy. They have a rubber like backside. I put them in the dryer to remove the fold wrinkles before hanging. The slightly off white color blends beautifully with my light grey walls, old 2" blinds, and old white trim paint. For only fifty bucks, I couldn't go wrong! I chose these curtains for our drafty, 100 year old new england farmhouse guest room. They are beautifully made and definitely block out the light, the sound, and help insulate the room from the cold. Very nice quality, very heavy.
