This wardrobe is a good size and gives lots of storage for a small space. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble, until the doors. They do have soft close which is a great addition. The hanging space is tight, no sweaters or bulky items would fit. The space is only a small amount larger than an adult hanger. Might work better for small kids clothing. The hanging space is enough for a dress or longer coat lengthwise. The hanging space does not allow for clothing to be see, only the piece in front, unless you sort through them. Shoes, purses, or folded clothing can fit in the shelving area. These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. Looks great, sturdy, but overengineered in some places while underengineered in others. The good part: 1) Looks great 2) Lots of storage space 3) Can move shelves around to create bigger/smaller spaces The bad: 1) Assembly took forever. I don't understand why you need three screws for each hinge door and then three additional screws to attach to the side panel for EACH hinge. Two is the standard for a reason. 2) Don't understand why most of the screws are black, the door stoppers are brown, and the magnets and door screws are silver. It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. These were slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but ultimately exactly what we needed--we had a height restriction, as well as a desired depth--and are serving us nicely. Assembly note: you have to drill holes in the doors, for the hinges, and I was a little worried that was going to lead to issues, but it worked out fine...I didn't have to adjust the doors at all, really (maybe I got lucky). Otherwise, these look great and do their job admirably! (tip: I used some of the cardboard from the box to support them on the carpet...without it, they weren't sitting quite straight / evenly). Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. They are quite flimsy but are supported by enough screws that the final product seems sturdy enough. It was a fair price for the quality of materials and looks nice when done.. Na. Lebanon, TN.
