It was SUPER easy to put together. It had the same screws basically for everything, so it was hard to mess up. The tracking of the shipment was also super convenient and accurate. I was thrown off with the staircase handrail, it’s not very kid friendly to hold onto because it’s low. Beds are very nice, but a lot larger in person than they look in the picture. The picture must be in a large room. LOL My granddaughter lives in a mobile home so the rooms aren't that large and this bed takes up most of the room, but the beds are what we needed so it's ok. Just be aware that this set is large. One issue we found is the mattresses we have for both beds are very thick so for the top bunk, we are going to have to get an extra bed rail so my grandson does not roll off the bed as the mattress comes right to the top of the rail on the bed. The beds are nice though and quite sturdy. One BIG issue I had was I paid extra (thru the Wayfair order) for a "pro" from Angi's to come assemble the beds and that turned out to be a total disaster and after the "pro" being rescheduled 3 times, we just cancelled the assembly order and found someone local to put the bed set together. So I would definitely recommend NOT paying extra to have an Angi pro come assemble anything. Their system is flawed big time and a total waste of your money. We live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia which is a very large area, so the fact that they couldn't find a "pro" to assemble the beds is strange!! As a mom of boys, I’ve purchased and assembled several bunk beds over the years to know that these are my favorites to date. I was able to put the bunks together in an hour by myself without any issues. The bunk is sturdy, and I have no concerns about stability or the bed slats coming out, as they snap into place. The attached ladder doesn't take up floor space or block access to the bottom bunk. The height of the bottom bunk not only prevents anyone from bumping their head but also gives my boys a lounge space to read or watch TV. My only complaints are that I wish the upper side rails were higher since current mattresses are not thin, so our mattress sits flush with the rail. We use a pool noodle under the sheet along the rail for extra peace of mind. If your mattress is on the thinner side, you won’t have any issues. The second is that I wish the clearance underneath was just an inch or two taller, as it wouldn’t impact the bottom bunk and would allow larger totes to be stored under the bed. This is a bunk bed. The overall frame is made of plywood, MDF and pine. There's a guardrail upstairs. The ascending mode of the ladder. The upper bed is supported by 14 slats and the lower bed is supported by 14 slats. The upper layer fits a 6-inch mattress and the lower layer fits an 8-inch mattress (purchased separately).

Beautiful! I did pay for assembly and one person came and assembled it by himself but it took a couple hours and I had to help lift the top bunk up. It’s pretty sturdy. Very nice piece for the price.
