UPDATE the center leg kept bending sideways and the couch would fall down! Today the leg completely broke off. It’s just me in the home with the dog and we are gentle. Very disappointed!! Need new couch. Delivery day I wanted to love this couch, and there are things I really do like about it—but unfortunately, the negatives were hard to overlook. First off, the screws around the frame were difficult to get in because the foam was too thick and the screws wouldn’t catch the threads properly. It took much longer than it should have, and I had to redo sections multiple times. To make matters worse, the included Allen key stripped after just a couple of screws and didn’t fit the bolts properly. If you’re putting it together, definitely use your own tools. One of the most frustrating parts was the seat slats. You can’t get them in unless you loosen up the frame again after you’ve already secured it—which feels like going backwards and risks everything slipping out of place. Now that it’s assembled, I’ve been trying to enjoy it. The beige color is absolutely gorgeous—a warm, slightly speckled tone that fits beautifully with my decor. That’s definitely a highlight. Another major plus the entire couch is washable, which is rare and incredibly practical. That feature is probably the biggest trade-off for the comfort issues. Speaking of comfort—the seat cushions are very firm and slope down toward the center, so if you’re not sitting dead center, it can feel awkward. I’m hoping they loosen up over time, but for now, they’re not great for lounging. The back cushions are soft but under-filled, and the back itself is quite low—not nearly as supportive as it looks in the pictures. I’m planning to add throw pillows (maybe even a fluffy seat topper) to make it more livable. Overall, it’s a beautiful-looking couch with some thoughtful features like the washable covers, but the comfort and assembly left a lot to be desired. Truly a beautiful, comfy couch. We have had it for a little over a year now and love it. It’s very cushy and has great depth. It’s also super easy to clean—most spills/dirt can be wiped with a wet paper towel without a sign of it if you are quick enough. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new! For the price, its a good couch. My husband was able to put it together himself, he said it was very tedious though. The seat cushions are truly pillow top - they look like a pillow was attached to a foam cushion (not saying thats a bad thing, just giving a visual). I like it, don’t love it. The slip cover is my favorite - it’s a thick linen and soft and really exceeded expectations there. It was really easy to put together. It’s not super, super comfortable like it’s pretty firm and the base has springs in it so it’s kind of hard and bouncy almost. The pillows are fine - way too big for the pillow covers that come with it but they technically fit. Id consider replacing the inserts. Overall, it’s fine. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did. They took a few weeks to arrive but came earlier than expected. Delivery was easy- the guys were fantastic. I haven’t tried the sleepers- they’ll serve their need eventually. Overall very happy. Just as pictured. Was nervous buying with no reviews. It’s very comfortable, not too soft, not too firm. Like a more supportive cloud I guess is how I’d describe it. Seats not too high or too low. It’s the perfect style for my decor, very timeless overall. Shipping was fast, came well packed and undamaged. Only assembly was screwing on the legs. Frame feels sturdy. My husband also loves the look along with the feel of the seat cushions. I have a cover on it bc pets so can’t speak to fabric durability. We both fit well on it, I’m 5’3” and my husband is 6’2”. So why 4 stars The dimensions are off. Seat height is actually closer to 18” not 21. Seat depth is closer to 28” not 33.5”. It’s probably 33.5” without the back cushions but that’s not how seat depth should be measured bc who’s sitting on a couch without back cushions (unless it’s a tight back which this is not). Here are the dimensions Overall length 90” Overall depth 40” Back height 27” Back height with back cushions 33” Arm height 22” Seat height 18” Seat length 80” Seat depth 28” Back cushion height (from seat) 18” I did contact Wayfair customer service to let them know the dimensions were not as advertised.
