I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. Simply change the cooking plates and adjust the floating hinge to use the Griddler as a Contact Grill, a Panini Press, or your choice of an extra-large double Open Grill or Griddle.

I really enjoy using the Griddler. Pancakes turn out great, the panini seems to need more time, but the results have been positive. If I am honest, I do wonder how long it will last as everything is very, very light and I question the durability of the Griddler, but only time will tell. For now I am happy with the purchase..
