Shipping was quick, but the box arrived looking like it had been through a war zone. Luckily, it seems the contents survived. This pan is a perfect size for me, as I'm downsizing from a 5-quart version that was just too big for one-person meals. The color is a nice shade of blue. The box was open, single layer cardboard, with no tape. It smelled oddly of floral perfume. Inside was the heavy, beautifully smooth carbon steel paella pan, with instructions on how to season it. Love this frying pan with lid. The 12.25 inch is larger than your normal 11 inch pan making food easier to place in pan, cook and to flip over. The nonstick has the food slide off easily and no problem to clean. Faberware is a reputable product and the price was great, especially that it included a lid and 2 handles. Ideal for paella since it conducts heat quickly and evenly. The pan is thin but quite rigid and durable. If the pan does rust, a few passes with steel wool takes it right off.
