Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. I'm happy with the bunk bed. But my kids are ecstatic. They were celebrating it for like 30 minutes. And the best part is they sleep better now. Putting it together was as difficult as advertised and due to my fitness level, I was sore for days after. The instructions were thorough, though could have been better as some steps could be merged with later ones to make the construction easier to accomplish. And the slats portion could be improved significantly as some were shorter than others. Those steps also didn't convey that the position of each wasn't fixed. So I had to measure the bed frame and put marks down to ensure I did it evenly. I would have expected markings on the frame to indicate where the slats would go. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bunk bed, especially for the price. It was fairly easy to put together, just time consuming because there are so many parts. It took two of us 2 hours. The parts were clearly labeled and the instructions were mostly clear. There are a couple minor issues one leg must have been drilled crooked because the leg is not lined up exactly right and there are 2 screws, so we can’t correct it. Plus there was a small dent on one of the rails. Another minor inconvenience is that since everything was labeled well, there are a lot of stickers to remove and they don’t come off the easiest. The biggest negative is that the ladder rungs are small and square and hurt your feet when climbing. Hopefully that’s not an issue for kids who are lighter, but it’s definitely an issue for adults.. Looks just like the picture online once assembled, ended up being the perfect size and height for my son’s bedroom and for him to enjoy for years to come, feels sturdy, good quality material. Assembly company was pretty good the first person wasn’t quite able to complete the assembly, I called and someone came two days later and finished it up, was fine since we are still in the process of moving our things. My 10 year old has the top bunk and my 2 year old has the bottom.. while it is a beautiful bed, I will say that when my 10 year old at 110 pounds moves around you can definitely feel movement and wobbling from below, but there is a steel bar that runs underneath the top bunk that reassures me that it is secure. It took us a about 3 hours to build, just make sure that the headboard and footboard are in the right facing position bc we had to redo ours. I also will note that the headboard and footboard slats dont fit in snuggly and are wobbly. Pine wood is a softer wood and I am already aware of some dings and dents but am still happy that this is not an MDF product so should hope last still for some years. Overall, still a better price point than big box stores and the value is there for us and our family. Would recommend knowing that its not perfect but functional.. Kerisah. Matthews, NC. I have never made a big furniture purchase from Wayfair, so I was a bit leery about buying something I hadn't seen in person. What a great buy! The wood was solidly made, and the color was flawless. My husband could not stop commenting on the quality of the wood, and how well organized the parts and directions were. It took a couple of hours to put everything together, but it truly was a great purchase. The slats were included, so all we needed to add were the mattresses.
