We are upgrading our 3 year old from her crib to a bed finally and this is an excellent choice. I love the design so she is proximal to the ground but still has “sides” to it so it isn’t super different from her crib to start. It is good quality and as expected to assemble. working to get my toddler son’s room converted with a big boy bed. Got this one so we won’t have to worry about him rolling out. The directions recommend 2 adults to put it together but I was able to do it solo in a couple hours. I didn’t put in the door because that’s where he get in and out but it does have a feature with a lock that goes where the opening in the frame is.
