Some reviewers have complained about rust, but I see no sign of any chipping or finish inconsistency on the metal so fingers crossed no rust will form any time soon or ever (when the rack is empty, I dab the wet metal a little with a towel just in case). There is a plastic tube fitted on each leg to protect the sink surface. One minor issue is I think gunk will build up inside the tubes over time, but they can be removed and cleaned periodically. Ordered this farmhouse sink in glossy blue. Absolutely love it! Color is even better than it appears online. More iridescent. Depending on angle, it appears anywhere from indigo to purple to royal blue to black. Quality is top notch. Am extremely impressed. Kitchen is not ready yet for the install but will update with photo when it is done. I wanted something different and unique. This fits the bill!!
