Very happy so far! We put this pergola up one week ago and have been very happy with the aesthetic, shade, and simple functionality. Assembly was straightforward with the exception of a minor hiccup - the QR code that was supposed to link to assembly instructions did not work. We used a Mirador assembly video on YouTube as reference, and it went together relatively simply. Two people, two drills, and two ladders is the ideal assembly scenario. This will make it relatively quick and efficient. Have only tested in light rain so far, and it kept us dry as designed. The awning is made from high quality material and it provides a large amount of shade and you can feel the difference in temperature when it is open. The change in temperature was about 10 degrees less heat when we had it open and had some shade.The cool feeling was immediately and it provides our bedroom with additional shade and fresh cool temperature. We had it professionally installed but very easy to assemble. The awning and hardware is all included but very heavy. There was 2 screws that were defective but he adjusted them to work well. The crank is easy and smooth to operate. If you’d like you can remove the crank for any safety reasons. The awning looks absolutely beautiful on our home and adds so much more character and peace.
