I love love love these!!! They are perfect for our deck! They are good quality and block the sun like we wanted! They have a crank handle on the right side that is removable and I like that. We have grandkids and dogs that I want to keep the handle away from them.. Leesa. US. Fri Oct 09 2026

Solar shades block exposure to the sun's heat and UV rays while imparting an unfussy style to your space. This outdoor shade is a perfect pick for pergolas, patios, and other structures, featuring a PVC construction that makes it semi-sheer, so you can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without the glare. A cordless cable guide system rolls this design up and down with the touch of a button, while an aluminum valance protects it when not in use. Plus, it includes a two-year hardware warranty and a five-year motor and fabric warranty. IMPORTANT: This motorized shade series features a plug-in motor. The 10' AC plug-in cord MUST be plugged in to operate the shade. The cord is located on the right side of the shade.

As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. As a result, I can’t figure out a way to automate this blind without using SwitchBot bots.. Kevin. Denver. Thu Apr 30 2026

This has been a game changer for our patio. I had a company come out and give me a quote for a custom shade and it was more than we wanted to spend. This was the perfect compromise. Easy to install and works perfectly.. Diana. Early, TX. Fri May 22 2026

Premium cordless outdoor solar shade with protective aluminum valance, hand crank control, and wind-flex bottom rail system for stability. Simple Stuff premium outdoor sun shades are produced with heavy-duty PVC woven fabric that is up to 4 times heavier than shades made of HDPE shades. That means they blow around less in windy conditions and maintain a flat, wrinkle-free appearance for years. The thick gauge bronze rubbed aluminum valance protects the fabric when not in use. Installation is quick and simple with the EZ mount brackets and included installation template. Mount on the top (ceiling mount) or side (wall mount). Use these shades on patios, pergolas, or any outdoor structure to enhance comfort by blocking direct exposure to the sun’s heat and UV. But don’t worry, they won’t block your outside view. Is too much heat entering your home in those south and west-facing windows? The solution is to install these shades on the exterior side of those windows to block heat and late afternoon sun glare. Less heat means lower cooling costs! Maui (28% open) offers the greatest visibility and airflow. Tropic (15% open) provides good heat and glare blocking while allowing good airflow and visibility. Caribbean and Kona (10% open) provide the best heat and glare control yet still provide a good view.

Very nice blinds, well made. Would recommend, we priced these blinds and they were twice as much from an actual blind company. We ordered three blinds, the ones we ordered and the wrong size for the third blind two that were correct and one that was the wrong size.. Deborah. Mon May 25 2026

Love this sun shade! It was the perfect size for my space and easy enough to install (or have my friend install for me). It provides great protection from the sun and heat and makes my front porch more comfortable during the hot summer months. The sun sets on the side of my porch making the late afternoons very hot on the porch. No more now that I have this sun shade! I also love that I'm able to see through it somewhat so I can still see the pond and trees and enjoy nature.. Martha. Mountain View, AR. Wed Jul 01 2026

Multi-purpose application, can be used in pergola, patio cover, greenhouse, garden plants, swimming pool, balcony, kennel and other areas where you want to create comfortable shade.

Useful product. I like the grommets all the way around for secured tie-down. Bought the 10x10 to update an older shade frame that lost its previous canopy from a winter storm. This comes with elastic bungee tie straps (though not enough for all grommets) I also used zip ties for extra security. Price reasonable compared to other online retailers.. Shirley. Red Lion, PA. These are great. Purchased 4 to install around pool enclosure for privacy and to block sun in evening. Easy to install with right tools. Not too heavy, relatively sturdy construction. Came with stainless steel washers, but lag screws were only zinc coated, so I purchased stainless steel 5/16 bolts instead that will not rust. I cut to fit gray rubber cover base (see photos) from HD to fit under base plates for added stability, to prevent contact from water and chlorine, prevent water from intruding into anchor holes, and for leveling posts. Overall good product, especially for price.. Anonymous. US. Thu May 23 2024
