This design is very pretty, and I love it! There is barely any odor, and it dissipated right away. My one-bedroom apartment has a slim window next to the front door with window blinds. I keep the blinds slightly open for more light and to feel less closed in. I wanted a privacy film to be able to have the blinds open and create more light and openness, as apartment living usually means a unit's windows all face one direction. The door and this slim window face a different direction. It's not full coverage/privacy, and that's okay. Someone outside would have to put their face right up to get a clear view of the inside, and I doubt anyone would be doing that. I've included photos from the inside and outside my door, plus during different times of the day with varying sunlight, and with the blinds how I used to keep them closed. There is a little bit of rainbow effect, depending on how much sunlight hits the film. Note #1: from the outside, a lot of soap/water bubbles showed, and it's necessary to keep smoothing them out. You may not see the bubbles from outside if your window is above the first floor with no way to easily access it from outside, but then it won't matter anyway. I used a microfiber cloth for the finishing touches. Note #2: while applying and smoothing out the water, have a cloth to soak up the water that will be getting squeezed out to the edges. So far so good! This is an affordable temporary solution to my mirrored closet situation. I didn’t want my bed facing mirrors for feng shui reasons and I plan to swap out the mirror doors later once I’m more settled in. On the meantime this is a great way to displace the mirror surface without losing the light. I will be buying more to finish the effect. It was pretty easy to put up - I didn’t do it perfectly but I think it will improve once I find my wallpapering tool. I purchased this room divider earlier this year (in April or May). I should have written a review sooner. The package was quite heavy. When I opened it and removed the inside packing material which was packed to protect the screen very well, my eyes lit up! It is absolutely beautiful. I can say in addition to some other comments, I was hoping the background color to be blue. The background color is moreso green. Its okay as art work on the wall adjacent to where the screen is in front of a window has blue and green colors in it. The colors of the birds are so pristine; they are not faded or washed out. The size is perfect also. I suggest having a second person help with moving the divider around especially on carpet due to the size. I recommend this purchase as you won't be disappointed!. Peggy D.. The screen came exactly when it was supposed to, about 2 1/2 months after ordering Oct 30. I was a little concerned when it hadn't 'shipped' by mid-December, but customer service explained that shipping isn't updated online until it reaches their warehouse in the US. I'm glad I waited! Packaging was excellent, crated, screwed shut, with dense foam on all sides (not Styrofoam). The screen itself appears to be very good quality, a double sided print with a metal frame. The print is a little less delicate than expected but the colors look exactly as pictured. Good weight, sturdy. I think it is heavy enough that the large rampaging adult kittens won't knock it down. I got the largest one. The sharp metal corners will scratch flooring so I'd recommend adding stick-on felt pads to the bottom before raising it from the crate and positioning in your home. It was fully assembled and easy to maneuver with two people. It fit exactly where expected in the house(we measured before ordering).
