Great solution for apartment living This screen helped divide my studio apartment into separate spaces without any construction. I use one side for sleeping and one side for work. Beautiful piece, and heavier/more solidly built than similar designs. Overall I'm happy with it, though it did arrive with some minor damage to one of the panels, and as others have noted, the white finish does rub off easily and get everywhere. I think I can easily repair the broken areas with wood glue and have decided to repaint it anyway (the distressing is uneven and makes the piece look lower quality than it is, the white is very chalky and uneven). The packaging was pretty good, but I don't know why they don't put a thin layer of foam between the panels, I think a lot of the breakage issues could be avoided with 1/4" thick sheet of foam to cushion the filigree work. The cutouts are very "rustic," so expect some rough areas and inconsistencies. The overall impression is still very nice, but I wouldn't put it near anything that could get snagged. A wonderful plus: my cat, who climbs everything, has not been able to scale this yet. I'm sure he'll keep trying, and maybe eventually manage it, but for now he has made 2 attempts and failed to get over it or knock it down, it's pretty sturdy.. Kimberly. El Cajon, CA. The screen came exactly when it was supposed to, about 2 1/2 months after ordering Oct 30. I was a little concerned when it hadn't 'shipped' by mid-December, but customer service explained that shipping isn't updated online until it reaches their warehouse in the US. I'm glad I waited! Packaging was excellent, crated, screwed shut, with dense foam on all sides (not Styrofoam). The screen itself appears to be very good quality, a double sided print with a metal frame. The print is a little less delicate than expected but the colors look exactly as pictured. Good weight, sturdy. I think it is heavy enough that the large rampaging adult kittens won't knock it down. I got the largest one. The sharp metal corners will scratch flooring so I'd recommend adding stick-on felt pads to the bottom before raising it from the crate and positioning in your home. It was fully assembled and easy to maneuver with two people. It fit exactly where expected in the house(we measured before ordering). Used this to complete a screen around our HVAC and backup generator as required by the township. This is expensive compared to other screen options. However, this screen is much more substantial than any of the alternatives I've seen. Others are perhaps 1/8" thick, bend like cardboard, and can be cut with a utility knife. This is almost 1/2" thick, almost impossible to bend, and requires a table saw or circular saw to cut.
