I like the sculptural presentation and ease if set up. I purchased this model for placement near my bird feeders to provide water and bathing options for the birds. It replaces a bird bath that gets too hot and stagnant during summer months. I like the large basin. It’s rained every day since set up so I haven’t had a chance to find out if the water will remain cool enough to entice the birds. I painted the basin white to help keep the water from getting too hot. I’m not pleased that maintaining the pumpcleaning requires removing the sculpture top to access the internal tank but other than this minor issue I love it. To say that a picture doesn't do justice to this fountain is a gross understatement. For one thing, the blues player is eight feet tall...in the photo, it appears to be about eighteen inches tall. The strings on the bass are actually one-inch thick copper pipe and the four jets are shooting approx. Two feet in the air. This sculpture was created for a patron who lives out in California and a short chapter in our book, a passion for metal, addresses this piece.

This beautiful hand-cast bronze sculpture depicts a small toucan bird fountain. The statue is equipped with a hose that leads water out of the toucan mouth (the mouth gets a field with water to the point at which it is heavy enough to open its moths and spill the water), with the use of a fountain pump (pump is not included). The birdbath is beautiful! However, it is very light weight. I had to fill it with water and use grounding stakes to hold it down…just happened to be a very windy day when I received it.
