This fountain made a great addition to my yard. It is well made and installation was easy. I wired the lights into my existing low voltage patio lights for convenience as it comes with separate cords for the pump and lights. Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! The fake copper lip that the water falls from is NOT LEVEL ! Therefore the waterfall will never be like the picture in a nice V fall. I was hesitant to order this because I initially wanted something that had the fountain functional in multi layers or as a wall of streaming water, not something that was smaller and designed to look like it sits on a pedestal. I was also worried about the low price and quality. I am very impressed with this. First, it is heavy - the stated specs are 22.7 lbs and it is closer to 45lbs. That means it is sturdy and robust. The pump and light are easy to assemble. This took me more time to unbox than it did to set up. It was packaged in a large box with ample hard foam padding all four sides. The sound of the water is loud enough to hear over a noise AC unit but not so loud that it is distracting. Love it! I couldn’t wait to set it up, so I have to work on leveling it … next year Now, I sit and wait to see if the birds like it. I had a 3-tier fountain prior to getting this and it was too deep for them to use. One comment, though, is that I adjusted the pump valve all the way to the left and then all the way to the right, and I honestly didn’t notice a change in the height of the water coming out, but it sounds great, regardless!.
