This desk has been great for organization. We have it for the gkids homework “to be completed” and “finished”. The kids can go to the desk pick out the items of the work that needs to be completed, sit right there at the desk and finish it, then put it in the finished folder. My husband or I can go to the desk, when we have time, and look over their completed work. We can then help them with areas that need extra work, or have them put it in their backpacks to turn in the next day. The youngest loooves the lights on the desk and is very attuned to the fact that the desk is a “workstation” for the older kids! He looks forward to school and is thrilled when we give him his own “work” to do at the big kids workstation! This desk has added organization and a sense of having an “office” in which to complete their work. It makes the kids feel “grown-up” and adds a sense of responsibility to their work efforts. This desk is used by everyone in the family regularly and helps to avoid losing schoolwork. Schoolwork is easily organized, completed, and prepared to go without any hassle or panic in getting ready for school. We love it! It is nice to look at, functional and an added joy to the completion of homework!. Lea. Norman, OK. Tue Oct 27 2026

Negatives: time to assemble over 2 hours, thin MDF panels. Positives: very affordable desk, has room for a large monitor, a full desktop computer, plenty of accessories, and functional drawers. Other thoughts: I think the panels are thin, but they're holding 120 pounds with my setup and the desk feels solid enough. I recommend assembling it on the same floor where you will place it, if not in the same room. Definitely suggest having two people if you need to move it.. Kevin. Savage, MD. Mon Oct 12 2026

Farmhouse Computer Desk with Hutch and 3 Drawers, 47.2" Executive Office Desk with Storage Drawers, Wood Desk with Power Outlet for Home Office

Look nice when fully assembled. I was able to assemble it by myself but will be faster if you have 2nd hand to help you to assemble it. I wish manufacturer were able to minimized the part to be assembled like if some small pieces were already attach or fixed to its location so it will lessen the time for assembly. It took me 4 hours. You need to be very careful on tightening screws because the engineered wood get easily crack. And of coarse since it is engineered wood, expect this will be heavy and on a reasonable price.. Looks great! It’s very sturdy. The black looks really nice. Took my husband two hours to put together but he wasn’t rushing. The drawers open smoothly but they do make slight sound as it sort of scrapes along the metal. The drawers don’t have stoppers so COULD fall on toes BUT they’re so deep that I can’t imagine that happening. We do plan to remedy that in some way because it for our 7yo son, but not necessary for older kids or adults. chair opening is very large which makes it nice for widercrossed-legged chairs. Awesome way to incorporate some shelves and we LOVE that it combines as a bedside table for him. He absolutely loves it.. Sachin. Thu Aug 27 2026
