I will say that the small wood pieces made to hold the corners up work well to keep the frame sturdy, however, some of the pieces have been cut a bit to large and getting them to tightly fit into the corner under the bamboo frame was impossible. It's huge, a bit bigger than I thought. Great for a family, but if you're tight on space, then might not be the best option. It holds so much more than my other 'basket'.
