Beautiful chairs! They look pretty close to the photos. The only real difference is that in person, the metal appears to be a more dark brass-like color (as opposed to being a basic gold, like it appears in the photos.) However, my biggest complaint is that they came with NOTHING labeled and no actual instructions. Only 1 paper with pictures of all the screws was included. But considering that the screws came all together in 1 (unlabeled) bag- it was very difficult deciphering which screw was which. So, putting the first chair together was quite the task and took at least few hours. Having to guess which screw matched up with what piece of the chair was frustrating. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to complete the 1st chair… following that, the other 2 chairs were pretty easy to assemble, since I had deciphered the puzzle while building the 1st one! These stools are great! The brass is not too yellow or blingy. It’s more of a brushed gold. They are comfortable. The back of the chair hits my back about mid way up my back. But let’s talk about the fabric. I’ve had these chairs a week and I come home to find that my angel children have splashed red spaghetti sauce on the stools. Does it get any worse than that!! I hold back all desire to strangle them and get out the oxi spray and a wet towel. The sauce came out. The angel children will live to see another day. I love that I was able to get these stools without waiting months. The color is kind of a tan, cream tweed. The quality seems good. The chairs are sturdy. There are not adjustable screw bottoms where the stool leg hits the floor. I added felt pads because they just have a plastic tab at the bottom of the leg. I didn’t want to scratch my hardwood floor.
