These barstools are good quality and pretty easy to put together. I like the fact that on the bottom of the legs, they already have a built-in thing to not scratch the floor and it is adjustable. I'm not sure about this chair, it looks great but it is really deep for a barstool. Residentially it's great, it's almost like a lounge chair because of the depth and I could sit in it for a long time. I don't like that it swivels. This is going in a bar for an outdoor restaurant sitting on a beach at a hotel. It's a bit too deep and the spinning is not so good in a commercial setting because people tend to get hurt. The chair is very sturdy and well made. I think it will be okay, we are having a lumbar pillow made so it doesn't sit quite so deep and a new cushion for the seat as the cushion on it isn't very soft. Putting the legs together (first step) was slightly tricky, but every step after went smoothly. The holes for screws are perfectly machined, nicely thought out assembly design. The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool. These counter stools are easy to assemble, sturdy, and complement my kitchen as well as adjacent living areas perfectly. I am an 80 senior and assembled my two stools myself. Putting the legs together (first step) was slightly tricky, but every step after went smoothly. The holes for screws are perfectly machined, nicely thought out assembly design. The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool.
