This table is nice. It’s not quite what I was expecting but overall it’s fairly nice. The assembly wasn’t too crazy and it does seem sturdy. This dining set is a lot smaller than I expected based on the photos, but it still works well for my family of four. After reading other reviews about the bench not being very sturdy, I decided not to use it and replaced it with a chair instead. I also added another chair on the opposite end of the table, which gives us plenty of seating and works better for our family. The wood seats can get a little uncomfortable after sitting for a while, so I do plan on adding seat cushions to the chairs. Overall, even though it was smaller than I expected, I’m happy with how it turned out and it fits our space nicely.. Brianna. Mon Sep 28 2026

A sturdy table and chairs that was relatively easy to assemble. There was some damage in the corners from shipping. The color is not a true black but rather a dark gray. Railing is black for comparison.. Anonymous. Sun Oct 04 2026

Perfectly portioned for small dining rooms, apartments and kitchens, this dining set is right on trend. Subtly designed contrast finish highlights a cool simplicity, Comfortably cushioned seat in a soft, neutral upholstery adds to the allure. High quality oka wood ensures stability in daily use, either a casual meal, a morning coffee, an afternoon tea or those homeworks.

Very easy to assemble, and very sturdy once everything is put together. The plastic nubs on the bottom of the chair make for easy sliding on my area rug. I think my only hangup was the quality of the actual key ends of the Allen keys provided with the hardware. The edges were uneven or flared out which made fitting them into the screws a little difficult. Would suggest having an Allen wrench set on hand just in case you have issues. Outside of that I’m incredibly pleased with these chairs.. Candace. Pennsylvania. Wed Oct 21 2026

We purchased the Aylar dining set with the 96" Table and are really happy with our purchase. It gives a really modern farm table feel. The 8 chairs that came with the set fit comfortably for this table size. We have entertained 8 guests for a dinner party and everyone fit well. I gave it 5 stars because the table itself is great. The only issue we had was with the shipment/delivery. First attempt made: They schedule a date and time so we take out our previous 8 seater dining room set. Delivery comes and they don't have the table just the chairs. So to rectify they order a replacement set. New delivery date is now about two weeks away so we bring back our old table and chairs. This was a complete inconvenience. Second delivery attempt: They again schedule a date and time which happened to be on a Monday So I take off work, remove my old dining set and then the delivery gets cancelled in the morning. At this point my husband is ready to cancel the order completely because the disconnect between shipping and customer service is really big. Upon calling they tell us it will be delivered the next day Tuesday. Tuesday comes, delivery truck is here, the drivers are fantastic, come in setup the table do a great job but now 4 chairs are missing! They call dispatch which then tells the drivers they will order replacement parts for us. At this point I'm just over it. I call customer service and they really are not empathetic at all. Not even a simple we apologize for such an inconvenience this has all been. I ask when I should expect the chairs and now the estimate is about one month later. I eventually received the chairs and I'm very happy with the table but the whole shipping/delivery experience makes me weary about ordering from Wayfair again.. Karol R.. NJ. Tue Mar 19 2024
