After reviewing many headboards I’m glad I bought this one. For the price it’s a great investment. It’s sturdy and I love the bookshelves on the endcap, it’s big enough for a frame and to place a water bottle at night. In the week that I’ve had the headboard I’ve noticed that it definitely needs to be dusted weekly. Just wish it wasn’t made of mdf, but again, what do you expect for the price, you can’t beat it. Decent bed. Feels sturdy enough I was able to put it together alone, but it took about 8 hours going at a slow pace with lots of breaks. Get a kneepad if you have one. Be sure to look at both sides of each piece immediately after you attach to make sure you have the right orientation. I found a backwards one twice and it was a considerable setback. The directions could be confusing at times, generally just sitting and staring at the parts for a bit or looking ahead to next few steps would made it clear. I'm giving it a 4 star review be use a received 3 unlabeled parts, luckily I could narrow them down. And because the pull out shelfs cannot be wheeled out , at least if you have carpet, and are a very tight fit. Photo attached shows why. The bottom of the shelf sides touches the ground and makes the wheels pointless. I will likely use them in the closet instead. The storage drawers are a little awkward to use. I struggle get the hook lined up and set in the slot to close them. Do not recommend if you have a bad back or mobility issues. The light is great if you like a bit of a night light.. M. Madison, WI. This Headboard is well made. Sturdy and exactly as it was stated in the description. The only problem we encountered was the Hinge Unit to secure the padded headboard. There was no way to use it. Without removing the springs and leaving the springs off the Hinge Unit. We installed without the Springs on the Hinge Unit. It works perfectly without them. Overall a solid and nice looking bed. The bed parts were shipped in 4 different shipments. 1-2 hours are needed to put them together. Headboard has 3 light bulbs. The first time they were broken during shipping. Customer service was able to ship out replacement very quickly. I recommend put light bulbs in a protective box. Easy to assemble and a good value for the price. The quality isn’t super high end and it doesn’t really look like real wood, but it works well for what we needed.
