Budget Friendly Daybed

Turn your living room into a guest room in a snap with this daybed. Featuring a twin bed up top, and a twin trundle bed tucked underneath, you can fit four kids or two adults comfortably with this daybed. Built on a solid and engineered wood frame, it is upholstered in polyester with a light gray hue for a piece that works with your current color palette. The back and arms have rounded corners and stylish stitching details for a contemporary look. The daybed and trundle mattresses are not included – we recommend 8" mattresses for both.

My son loves his new bed! This is the warm gray color… very good quality and it was easy to follow the assembly instructions.. Jessica. Oklahoma. Tue Aug 25 2026

This daybed provides a streamlined solution for lounging by day and hosting guests by night. Its frame is made from steel and includes a system of slats that support your mattress without the need for a bulky box spring. This piece is ideal for a home office or guest room where maximizing floor space is a priority. The integrated pop-up trundle rests on smooth-rolling casters for easy movement and can be raised to create an even sleeping surface. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

A series of slats eliminate the need for a box spring, so all you need to get are two mattresses (sold separately).

This is a great bed!!! Beautiful, quality material and I can tell it’s very durable. I can’t wait for guests to come and try it out. Very easy to put together.. Linda. Estero, FL. Wed Oct 07 2026

Very easy to put together! It does come in multiple boxes so you don’t have the completed set until you have multiple boxes from Wayfair! VERY sturdy and true to color being advertised. If ANYTHING, perhaps SLIGHTLY deeper of a burnt orange coor.. Falisha. Las Vegas, NV. Tue Sep 08 2026

Beautiful and easy to assemble. Fits perfect in my spare bedroom.. Anonymous. Tue Oct 20 2026

Maximize space and style with this Mid-Century Modern Daybed, featuring a pop-up trundle that converts from twin to king size for overnight guests. Upholstered in soft velvet with a curved backrest, it adds elegance to living rooms, studios, or guest bedrooms. The built-in USB & Type-C charging port keeps devices powered, while two side pockets store remotes and books.

Took a few hours to build. But overall looks great! Wish the head board gap wasnt so big. Because of the trundle you need a 6 mattress on the bottom but the top mattress would be better if it was 10 so you dont have a gap between the headboard and mattress. Problem is you want the thickness to match if you want it to serve as a king.. Lisa. West Palm Beach, FL. Sun Oct 18 2026

This twin-size daybed provides a versatile sleeping and lounging solution for your guest room or small living space. The frame is made from solid pine wood and features a finished back, allowing it to sit comfortably against a wall or in the center of a room. Plus, the removable trundle bed features wheels for easy access when you have overnight guests.

Love this daybed! Perfect for grandkids and guests. Was not hard to put together. It’s very well made and sturdy.. Nancie. Baton Rouge, LA. Fri Oct 02 2026

This twin daybed delivers a versatile sleeping and seating solution for your space. It's crafted from a solid rubberwood frame and features rattan webbing panels for a breezy, textured look. The included pop-up trundle wheels out on casters to easily convert the daybed into a larger sleeping surface or two separate twin beds. With its finished back, you can place it anywhere in your home. Plus, the solid wood slats provide plenty of support for your mattresses.

Very happy with this purchase! The bed is sturdy and looks great. One helpful thing to know make sure to purchase an 8-inch mattress for the bottom trundle. The listing doesn’t specify a mattress thickness, and anything thicker than 8 inches will prevent the trundle from sliding underneath the bed properly. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to figure out what size mattress to order!. Shauna Monae. Ventura, CA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Crafted from wood frame and upholstered with all-over corduroy, this daybed exudes timeless appeal of textured aesthetic that complements any room decor. With its soft velvet touch and a calm and advanced color tone, when placed in the living room, it becomes an exclusive space for a lazy afternoon of reading newspapers and taking a nap; when placed in the guest room, it can transform into a comfortable bed, providing a warm sleeping experience for guests.

We love it! The velvet material is soft and cozy. We found a matching grey fitted sheet and zippered pillowcases to help pull it together to make it look more like a couch. I love that it can instantly be transformed to a guest bed. My ten year old daughter helped me assemble it in an evening. It’s what we needed for our space. Note we purchased an 8 inch mattress from Wayfair as well so it would look like a couch. A thicker mattress would be too tall for the look of a couch.. B Lou. Black Hills, SD. Mon Jul 06 2026

Love love love it. I’m an idiot for not knowing how big 14 inches is for the mattresses. Maybe I shouldn’t have used “men” math when it comes to inches Hahahahah. Anonymous. Fri Oct 16 2026

I love it. Used every day. Sturdy and quiet. Good with a 10” mattress without consuming the backrest. It leaves enough room for pillows to stand up. Does not make sounds when moving. Easy assembly. Smells good. The technical writers did a great job with the instructions. Impressed with the hardware layout.. Wu Hwang. Fort Wayne, IN. Fri Oct 02 2026

This daybed comes with a trundle bed to save space. Moreover, It can not only be used as a bed to provide a sleeping area, but also as a sofa to provide a leisure area in the living room, which is very practical.

I have ordered a lot from Wayfair over the years and have always been pleased, until this daybed arrived. No damage to the box but the door was hammered, almost all of the components either had damage, flaws or filthy. We had company coming and needed the extra bedding so my husband put it together. I am VERY disappointed to say the least!. Anonymous. Sun Oct 18 2026
