I should have bought this when I bought my Purple mattress 5 years ago! Using a regular box spring under a Purple mattress will cause the grid to lose its shape and creates valleys in the mattress. Placing the Bunkie Board on top of the box spring restored the grid to its natural shape, and NOW I sleep on the mattress just like I did when I got it home! I'll be buying these for EVERY SINGLE Purple mattress I own!!!. Yokasta. NM. Mon Oct 19 2026

I bought this because my mattress needed to be a little higher to be even with my nightstands. I live alone, and it looked like I might be able to deal with these folding foundations on my own. The box they were delivered in was a bit heavy and awkward to get into the house (I wish all large boxes had handles punched into them), but once I did, it was easy enough to maneuver the foundations into place under my existing mattress. Another plus is that they lift the mattress above a one inch lip around the bed's platform, making it quite a bit easier to put clean sheets on. So far, they don't make any noise and solved all the problems I was hoping to solve.. Elaine. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Sep 03 2026
