It comes all in one box mattress and bed frame so it's heavy. Everything was tied in really good with zip ties which took forever to take out of the box because you have to cut each individual zip tie. Of course the mattress was an easy setup it comes compressed so just open and let it expand for a few of hours. However, the bed frame is a nightmare! The most difficult to assembly. It literally took me 3 hours and the instruction manual was horrible. The pictures are not clear enough to understand so you have to kind of guess where things go. it just took forever! In any case, once everything was assembled it was exactly what I hoped for, and it was actually comfortable if you prefer a firm mattress. Definitely a space saver, it easily stored away in my closet. Other than the tedious, and difficult setup, I'm actually happy with the bed overall. however, I never want to have to set up a bed frame like this again.. Elizabeth. Amarillo, TX. Sun Aug 16 2026

The bunkie board split bunkie board provides a surface foundation for any platform beds, bunks, and daybeds. It adds support to the mattress and will keep the mattress stay in good shape thus extending the life of your mattress. It will give firm bottom support for the mattress and raise the mattress by about. When a mattress is placed directly on slats or metal springs, the mattress will tend to rip or sink. These can be avoided with the use of a bunkie board. Using a bunkie board doubles the mattress' life expectancy. This bunkie board is a good alternative instead of a box spring that may be too high for day beds. It will give the bed a lift without adding much height. This bunkie board is strong enough to be used directly on the bed frame instead of a box spring. It will give the mattress a lift which is quite low but will hold up the mattress. This daybed provides a streamlined solution for lounging by day and hosting guests by night. Its frame is made from steel and includes a system of slats that support your mattress without the need for a bulky box spring. This piece is ideal for a home office or guest room where maximizing floor space is a priority. The integrated pop-up trundle rests on smooth-rolling casters for easy movement and can be raised to create an even sleeping surface. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

Tired of narrow twin rollaway beds? Our full-size 54" x 75" folding bed provides nearly 40% more sleeping space, giving you superior comfort and freedom of movement—ideal for adult guests and extended stays.

This is a nice extra bed for when company comes over. It folds in half for storage and doesn't take up as much room as a regular bed. The mattress isn't the thickest, but it will do for a night. It comes air-packed, so you need to let it sit out for a few days to reach its full size. The directions aren't the clearest, but they're easy enough to figure out. I was missing a couple of screws for the supports, but they are not that significant, as they are side supports.. Tammy. Waucoma, IA. Sun Oct 18 2026

Don't miss this practical and comfortable bed for a better sleeping solution.

Practical but Not Very Comfortable This foldable bed is very practical and convenient, especially when you need an extra sleeping space or a temporary bed. It is easy to fold and store. However, it is not very comfortable for extended use because, after a while, you can feel the metal frame through the mattress. It works well for occasional use, but I wouldn’t recommend it for long periods of sleeping.. Betty. Sat Oct 10 2026

This is the perfect platform bed that I was searching for. Our small spare bedroom's main use is as a "man cave," but on occasion when our son comes to visit, we need a good platform to put a mattress on. This was super easy to put together, folds up nicely and we can put it in a corner of the room out of the way when it's not in use.. Jurintha. CT. Mon Oct 12 2026

These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026
