Purchased a similar one in our last house from LG that did not have the extra cooling drawer and it was a great refrigerator - never any issues in the three years before we moved. With the extra cooling drawer it is even a better refrigerator. More options on using the drawer and keeps everyone from opening the refrigerator all the way and standing deciding what they want for lunch.
