Great for plane themed decor.. Pamela. Huffman, TX. Fri Nov 27 2020

This G650 alloy airplane model is made by precision casting with a scale of 1:100, which embodies ingenious technology and elegant design. The fuselage is made of high-quality resin, and the streamlined outline is very dynamic. With a stable wooden base and a metal bracket, it presents a stable and atmospheric display effect. From the precise engine panel to the delicate paint surface, every detail has been rendered by hand, and the 16 portholes have been exquisitely restored, making the overall shape realistic and layered. The model reproduces the classic appearance of the legendary ultra-long-range business jet, and its design is inspired by the first civil aircraft in the history of human flight to realize direct flight from new york to Tokyo, which not only symbolizes the breakthrough of speed and distance, but also bears the brilliant achievements of aviation technology. You can display it stably through simple three-step installation, and it can become the focus of attention whether it is placed in a desk, study or display cabinet. This model is not only a treasure for aviation enthusiasts, but also an elegant choice for colleagues, partners or collectors. It combines craft aesthetics with aviation culture, interprets the charm of flying art between square inches, and adds a unique sense of science and technology and noble temperament to your living space.

The Queen Mary is considered by many as the pinnacle of British passenger shipbuilding. The canard Line's Star Flagship, Queen Mary, was laid down for construction as the Great depression gripped Europe, rendering circumstances unfeasible for ship building. Thus, the construction was held up from 1931 to 1934. The thousand foot passenger ship was built to trump its French rival to the crown of luxury, the Normandie. One of the most appealing characteristics of the Queen Mary was her great speed. Coupled with great luxury and comfort, this factor earned amazing profits for her owners until the outbreak of the Second World War, which found her in a New York Harbor. After being idle for half a year, the Queen Mary re-entered service as a troopship, traveling unescorted from New York to Sydney. Ferrying troops between the Suez and Australia until the United States decided to take part in the fight, the Germans reportedly offered a quarter million reward for sinking this ridiculously fast passenger boat which their submarines could not keep up with. With its speed and finesse along the waters, the Queen Mary bested any warship afloat and adopted the nickname, ''the Gray Ghost.'' The third largest passenger ship ever to set sail in the North Atlantic seaway, and the largest to survive, the Queen Mary is one of the recent reminders of the artistic and industrial genius that dominated the North Atlantic Ocean for over a century. A true icon, the 1963 Aston Martin DB5 is frequently acclaimed as the most beautiful car in the world. Appearing in 6 James Bond films including Bond's latest outing 'Skyfall', the DB5 has left an indelible mark on popular culture. This automobile model is 100% iron frame with metal, rolling wheels. The decal insignia and painted details give more of an authentic look. The models have seats as well as a steering wheel and minor details on the dash. The exterior details such as the front bumper support are securely welded on.

Built primarily with dense southern live oak, its hull was 21 inches thick in an era when 18 inches was common. Paul revere forged the copper spikes and bolts that held the planks in place. The 204-foot-long ship was first put to sea in 1798 and its most famous era of naval warfare was the War of 1812 against Britain when it captured numerous merchant ships and defeated five warships, including the H.M.S. Guerriere. It was during the ferocious battle with the Guerriere that British seamen, astonished at how their cannonballs were bouncing off the constitution's hull, cried out, ''Sir, her sides are made from iron'' hence, the nickname, ''old ironsides.'' the constitution today is a national landmark and is docked in boston.

Impressive model! I haven't even removed it from the packaging as yet. I am a woodworker and planning to construct a case for it as I did for the Independence, a model I finished this year. Only question I have is about the masts when first received. Upon opening the top of the shipping box I remember all the sails were 90 degrees to the hull. Now after 2 days, all the sails are 30 degrees to the left. I included a shot looking down at the model. I was interested to know if others have noticed this or am I mistaken? Also found this after unpacking (see picture) of rear mast warped at top. The other noticeable item was the size of the rigging blocks, obviously too large but can be overlooked as they seem to accentuate the model when viewed as a whole. . Greg. Gilroy, CA. The name of the Cutty Sark tall ship comes from the short shirt worn by the flee-footed witch in the Robert Burns poem, tam o'Shanter. Designed by Hercules Linton in Dumbarton, Scotland, the Cutty Sark was launched in 1869. The Cutty Sark was initially designed and meant for trading tea with China. Crafted to race across the globe to sack immense profits before other European traders, the Cutty Sark was built for speed. In the memorable race between the Cutty Sark and Thermopylae in 1872, the Cutty Sark lost her rudder after passing through the Sunda Straight and arrived in London a week after their competitor. What makes the Cutty Sark the hero of this race was that she continued the race with a makeshift rudder instead of putting into port for repairs, and in spite of that only lost by a week. Inevitably, the clipper ships lost out to the more powerful steam boats, which were more reliable, and thus returned goods more consistently. The Cutty Sark won the reputation as the fastest ship in her size when she ran 360 nautical miles in 24 hours during a run for Australian Wool trade. The Cutty Sark is the world's sole surviving extreme slipper, with the majority of her hull fabric surviving from her original construction in the 1860s. The Cutty Sark is preserved as a museum ship in Greenwich, which is in south-east London.

The name Riva is synonymous with elegance, class, and premier European craftsmanship, Riva has been one of the world's leading producers in high quality speed boats since the 1950s. The Riva name dates back through the 1840s, where Pietro Riva began to fashion boats in a small northern Italian town called Sarnico. Pietro's grandson, Carlo, would be the figurehead of the Riva Speed Boating legend. In the 1950s, Carlo Riva began to produce elegant wooden speed boats of unquestionably superior style and quality. The Riva Aquarama was the undisputed flagship of Riva's line. Becoming more than just a boat, the beautiful Aquarama was a social symbol of the highest class, style, wealth, and most notably, power. Based on the Aquarama, the Riva Rivarama is a supreme class open cruiser and a design masterpiece. Every detail on the Riva Rivarama is beyond exceptional and she provides tremendous comfort and an abundance of options over her entire 44 feet of length. Again, Riva accentuates the use of exotic and precious materials, as is customary for all of their speedboats, the most luxurious of their class. The Riva Rivarama comes equipped with a MAN R6-800 CRM, 800 horsepower engine. The massive 17-ton speedboat can reach a ridiculous 40 knots/hour.

This is a really beautiful boat. I'm very pleased and your customer service is first rate. Thank you very much. W.H. Moyer. William. Murphy, NC. Mon Aug 17 2020

The Royal Louis was a 3-deck vessel with 120 guns. Her captain was a Squadron Admiral. She was one of the most powerful first-rank vessels belonging to the French Royal Navy at that time. Our model represents the Royal Louis according to the plans of 1779, when she was Admiral-Ship of the Blue and White Squadron, being part of the American Squadron, also called Earl d'Estaings.

The SS United States (also known as ''The Big U'') is an ocean liner built in 1952 for the United States Lines. At 53,329 gross tons, she is the largest ocean liner to date built entirely in the United States and still holds the record for the fastest westbound transatlantic crossing. In 1952, on her maiden voyage as the new flagship of the United States Lines, the United States captured the Blue Riband with the fastest eastbound and westbound transatlantic crossings on record (11 July–15 July, 3 days, 12 hours, 12 minutes). The entry of the United States marked the first time since the Baltic a century earlier that a U.S.-flagged ship held the Blue Riband, surpassing European speed records which had stood for decades. The United States lost the eastbound record in 1990, but still holds the westbound record, and remains the fastest ocean liner to cross in either direction. The United States plied the transatlantic with passenger service until 1969, and she outlasted the demise of her original owners. The ship is currently docked in Philadelphia until a decision is made about her fate

H.M.S. Sovereign of the Seas, launched in 1637, was the most powerfully armed ship in the world in its day. It was originally going to have 90 guns, but King Charles I personally insisted that a ''great ship'' be built for the English Royal Navy, so it went to sea with 102 bronze guns. The vessel was the most extravagantly decorated warship in the Royal Navy, completely adorned from stern to bow with gilded carvings. The ship was later renamed Sovereign and then Royal Sovereign. It was destroyed by fire in 1697 in Chatham.

A very beautiful marine sculpture standing. Featuring in a natural form 3 dolphins swimming. A timeless creation in lost wax cast bronze, with the most beautiful of gallery quality finishing. The patina chosen for this timeless creation is a mix of hand finishing with silver and polychrome techniques also referred to as enameling over bronze. The sculpture sits on the marble base.

This sculpture is amazing. I was going to place it downstairs, but like it so much it is on my great room coffee table. Have received many compliments on it.. Mary. US. Mon Aug 18 2025

The three masted Xebec with its lateen sails was used for centuries in the Mediteranean as a merchant ship because of its speed and shallow draught. It was not long before Corsairs, the pirates of the Mediteranean, decided on the Xebec as their vessel of choice for lighting fast attacks on heavier ladened merchant ships. With its fourteen cannons slug low in the waists, the Xebec would hole her prey just inches above the waterline making escape impossible. Six culverins were mounted along the poop deck for close action or just in case the crew tried to mutiny. Oars were used when the wind failed giving the Xebec the upper hand in attacking other vessels or fleeing the authorities.

I’ve always wanted a model ship and I had a perfect place to display it. This is better that I could imagine. It came early and was packed very well. So proud of it!. Fred. OK. Fri Jul 17 2020

The Queen Mary II, the largest and most luxurious passenger ship ever built, was to take to the seas for the first time on the 25th of September, 2003. This primary endeavor was for a series of tests ahead of her maiden voyage in January. This liner, which was the first canard ship to be outside of Britain, left dock in the western French port of Saint-Nazaire for several trial runs between the off-shore islands of Ile dyeu and Belle-Ile. The Queen Mary II - which can accommodate some 2,600 passengers and 1,250 crew members - is 345 meters long and 41 meters wide, and stands as high as a 23-story building. The 150,000-ton vessel includes a spa, five swimming pools, 2,000 bathrooms, 3,000 telephones, 4,500 steps along with hundreds of works of art. It generated enough power to provide electricity for a city of 300,000 residents. canard, owned by the US cruise group Carnival, paid around 800 million dollars for the vessel. By comparison, the Titanic was 269 meters long, 28 meters wide, and a gross tonnage of 45,000 tons.

Built in 1898, the regatta cutter Pen Duick was one of the most beautiful sailing boats. She was abandoned after running aground in the muddy flats of the Loire. The legendary sailor, Eric Tabarly, who rescued and lovingly restored her with the other sailor were lost off the southeast coast of Wales on the stormy night of June 14, 1998, the same year that PEN DUICK reached its hundredth birthday. Please note the model's mast and sail are folded down for easy packaging and shipping. Assembly is required.

The Black Pearl, originally Wicked Wench, is a fictional ship in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. The Black Pearl is easily recognized in the screenplay by her distinctive black hull and sails. This is an advantage in more than one way. Not only do the black sails act as an intimidation tactic, but Pearl's crew can put out the deck lamps for added stealth at night. The ship was originally named Wicked Wench before she was ordered burned and sunk by Lord Beckett[citation needed]. It was later raised from the sea floor by Davy Jones after making a pact with Jack Sparrow who rechristened her the Black Pearl. She is said to be ''nigh uncatchable''. Indeed, in the three films she either overtakes or flees all other ships, including the Interceptor (regarded as the fastest ship in the Caribbean) and the Flying Dutchman (which is actually faster against the wind). Her speed is derived from the large amount of sails she carries. She is noted in At Worlds End as being ''The only ship as what (which) can outrun the Flying Dutchman.'' The Black Pearl is one of the locations that can be visited in the Port Royal world of Kingdom Hearts II.

This is a stunning replica of the Drakkar Viking boat, a classic boat used by the Vikings between the 7th and 10th centuries. Drake or Dreki is the name of the Scandinavian boats (the drake, usually the ornament of the bow), known between 700 and 1,000. Made of oak (boards piled up like slate ). It is a kind of whale fishing boat and has a very solid shape with a length of approx. 25m and a width of 5m. It was used with sails and oars by the frightful Vikings.

I used this ship to send some of my husbands ashes “out to sea” and set it on fire on the lake we live on as he always said he wanted to go out like a Viking. It worked well. His service was wonderful.. Deborah. Tallahassee, FL. Mon Jan 15 2024

H.M.S. Victory was the ultimate British fighting vessel: 227 feet long with 104 guns and 850 men when at full capacity. It was launched in 1765 and is most famous as Adm. Horatio Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Nelson was shot and killed during the battle. H.M.S. Victory is the oldest naval ship still in commission. It has been restored and rests in dry docks at Portsmouth, England. The ship in Portsmouth is the sixth ship with the name Victory in the Royal Navy. There has been great interest in the fifth Victory ship, which was built 15 years earlier and whose wreckage was found recently by Odyssey Marine Exploration.
