Just kind of speeds of the process, but it is nice. honestly I would use this more as a guest bedroomor in a guest bedroom so Im not sure about the quality although it does have the wood planks for stability so its firm it doesnt feel like its gonna break or anything like that. This bed works perfect for my son. I will say that it was quite difficult to put together though. Many of the screws did not line up great, making it a frustrating build. This is a nice loft bed set and while slightly more expensive than other sets it is worth the money. This set has the best layout in my opinion for under the bed and that alone is worth the extra cost. It took me about 3.5 hours to fully assemble by myself moving at a relaxed pace. The parts and instructions are labeled fairly well with one extra of each screw. I have not anchored it to the wall yet but it is very sturdy even being on carpet.
