We have been looking for a star that could actually plug into our lights and not require batteries. This one fit the bill perfectly and is very, very well lit. It stands out as the Christmas star should instead of fading away into the background. It also was sturdy and did not feel fragile like it would be easily broken. The packaging it came in was quite sufficient to protect it in shipping. You would not be disappointed with this if you chose to purchase it.
