I LOVE these candles; I've been looking for these for years. Turn them on using the remote, then press the button for how many hours you want it on. This Star is flat on the back which makes it very versatile to install. It is well made and very pretty. My issue is that the lights on the picture look like a warm yellow and the lights actually look like a cool blue- which makes sense since they are LED.
