Overall the main bed frame has been solid - no shaking, which is what I was worried about. The headboard is another story, that part is not as well constructed so it's more decoration. It's also overall bigger that a Cal King mattress so there is an open space on either the top or bottom (picture), the sides are an exact fit. Since the frame is sturdy for, um, adult time, I'm glad we decided to save the money versus the much more expensive other stores! Great looking and quality bed. We have the grey color one. The ONLY negative feedback is that it has an extremely bad chemical odor that is not going away even after 1.5 weeks of using it.
