This is a solid sconce. The size/scale are perfect for small spaces or when a minimal look is preferred. I love the retro cord. My only comment, I received installation instructions for a hard wire by electrician. This sconce is intended to be a plug in, I didn't receive the instructions for that type of install. The lights are exactly as described. There are 3 set screws to hold it in place at 12,3, and 9. They should have added one at the 6 o'clock position or shifted the 3 and 9 to 4 and 8. when moving the arm, it rocks a little.
