The bed isnt bad in and of itself but the assembly person they hired was delayed by two days so we decided to put it together ourselves. The directions were terrible, nothing was prefab- even the drawers themselves had to be assembled. Took two grown men 8 hours to put together due to the instructions being so poor. Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. I read reviews and was pretty intimidated when I started building, but everything went well. I had all of the correct parts, and I found the directions clear.
