The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions.
