We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. Beautiful Walnut bed frame. It looks really elegant and modern with a artsy touch. I loved it so much I bought a second one for my guest bedroom. The bed is very low but that’s something I was looking for. For the guest room I did add some bed elevation blocks only because I have items stored underneath. Very sturdy, and strong! it did take about an hour to build and it requires two people to hold some of the pieces up. It goes well with contrast deep green furniture or decor.
