I am very pleased with these Bilyeu chairs. I bought 2 for a breakfast area and they look great. Pay attention to the dimensions as these are not large chairs. The backs look really tall in the picture but they are not. I did put a cushion on the bottom for a little softness as they are solid. I would say they are comparable in rigidity to wood. Completely underwhelmed by this chair. It's VERY orange in an unnatural way. It's incredibly uncomfortable in both the seat and the back. You would definitely want to use a lumbar pillow.
