I am very pleased with these Bilyeu chairs. I bought 2 for a breakfast area and they look great. Pay attention to the dimensions as these are not large chairs. The backs look really tall in the picture but they are not. I did put a cushion on the bottom for a little softness as they are solid. I would say they are comparable in rigidity to wood.
